Byteleaps (“we”, “us”) operates this website. As a Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act, we process your personal data only for the purposes stated below, with your consent, and give you the rights described here.

Personal data we collect

• Contact form: name, email, phone/WhatsApp, company, project details you enter.
• Free audit tool: the URL you submit, and — if you request the full report — your name, email and WhatsApp number.
• Analytics (only after you accept the cookie banner): pages visited, referrer, approximate device type and a session identifier.

Purpose & consent

We collect this data only to respond to your enquiry, deliver the report you asked for, and understand aggregate site usage. Each form asks for your explicit consent before submission, and analytics scripts do not run until you accept the cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us — see Contact below — which is as easy as giving it.

How we use it

• To reply to enquiries and follow up on project discussions.
• To generate and deliver the audit report you requested.
• To improve our website and services using aggregate, consented analytics.
• We never sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

Retention

We keep contact and audit submissions only as long as needed to respond to you and maintain business records — typically up to 24 months from your last interaction — after which they are deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Your rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing done before withdrawal.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
• Register a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

Cookies & analytics

We use a cookie consent banner. Analytics (Google Analytics and our own in-app usage log) load only after you click “Accept”. Rejecting or not responding keeps these scripts off; the site works fully without them.

Third parties & cross-border transfer

We share data with service providers strictly to operate the site: our email delivery provider (to send you a reply) and Google Analytics (only with consent). These providers may process data outside India; we only use providers that meet applicable data protection standards.
